80s-Music.net is coming together

I finally had time to do some more work on 80s-Music.net. I changed the theme — thought I wanted to use a montage of 80′s artists on the top of the page, but opted not to. You are now looking at another theme I feel you will like better. I changed the image up top to the super-group U2 because they really defined the 80′s with their album The Joshua Tree. I might use other artists from time to time and change it up a bit.

Speaking of U2, how many of you loved them right from the start? I remember the first time I saw U2 on Mtv. It was the song New Year’s Day off U2′s War album and I was just floored. Guess I have a good eye ear for mega stars. At that moment I knew U2 was going to the top. I might not have voiced it at the time, but I knew Bono and the boys were going places. I also didn’t quite understand the political topics of their songs — I just loved how they sounded. Bono’s voice and the rhythm of the Edge’s guitar brought me in closer.

With that said, I’ll leave you with U2′s New Year’s Day video.
